Sister Chamberlain: WINDSOR CASTLE AND HAMPTON COURT PALACE

So as you can tell by my subject line I went to Windsor castle and Hampton court palace today. That is why my email is later than usual. We were talking to a member last week about where we should go for p-day and she said both of those places and I said which one and she said both and I said well I only have one p-day left and with busses and trains i can just go to one and she said oh well then I will just take you to both!!! So we saw the changing of the guards at Windsor castle! So cool. When the band got inside the castle they played Indiana Jones and Star Wars. A member from our ward usually marches with the band but he wasn’t there today. He plays the piano brilliantly. He plays for the queen and other important people all the time. Windsor castle is where the queen lives sometimes. She wasn’t there today though cause her two flags weren’t up and airplanes were flying over the castle.

Then we went to Hampton Court Palace which is where King Henry the VIII lived. It is SO PRETTY half is Tudor and the other half was built hundreds of years later as an extension for Queen Anne. Really cool. I have lots of pictures but i will have to show you when I am home.
