ELDER COWAN: WILD WILD FLORIDA
Hey everybody has it going! So this last week was a lot better than the previous week but we really had some wild times! I guess the wildest thing that happened was that the Sanford missionaries had a baptism! Now usually that is pretty awesome but what makes it even more awesome is the fact that they asked me to baptize the lady! I’ve never done that before and it was pretty interesting. I did it on the first time so it wasn’t that bad ha ha ha ha ha. She was pretty cool!
Then we had a very long bike week. Bike week in Florida is not the bike week you thinking of. We don’t go up to Daytona and ride motorcycles around but we just bike around and get things done. My bike got fixed two weeks ago so I’ve been able to bike without any issues. We also went on exchanges this week as well elder husbands from Sanford came down to Lake Mary with us and we were able to work with him and see some cool things. We did service for two of the people we are teaching. We’ve been doing service within the past three weeks but I finally got done this week. They had a garage just full of old junk. So is our job to help get rid of a lot of it and believe me we got rid of a lot of it. We found and super old creepy doll that had us laughing now! We also continue to work with our investigators who are on date for November 22. They also came to church which was nice.
So this is the last week of the transfer so we find out what happens next transfer on Saturday. Since me and Elder Cortez are both new to the area we have a thought that we are both going to stay. But I have no clue what is in president’s mind so one of us could be leaving. Usually when they whitewash an area one of those that they brought in leaves after one transfer. So I guess we’ll just have to see! Things are going good otherwise. It’s Halloween this week which means if we have lessons to teach we can teach on Halloween but if not they want us inside. Just a lot that could happen so we just take precautions. I hope y’all have a good day and know that I love you all so much!
