Elder Crocker: Unexpected Happenings and Baptisms
This was a pretty solid week. We had some unexpected happenings, such as a sickness one day (Elder Grant had a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day), and otherwise didn’t really consider how our Saturday had a few baptisms that we attended, but it was otherwise a very productive feeling.
Not Unexpected Baptisms
One pair of baptisms happened in Indang with Elder McLaughlin and Elder Apuhin, both very solid missionaries. The second set of baptisms were for our own investigators, Generoso and Arturo. They’re great men, very prepared. They bore some of the most powerful testimonies after their baptism that I’ve ever heard. I didn’t have a lot to do with their baptisms, but it was great to be a part of it.
I feel like I don’t have much to write this week, but it was a good one.
More working towards the salvation of our fellowmen.
Until next week,
Elder Crocker

A Few Questions and Answers:
Q: How’s the time feeling?
A: I had a fellow missionary point out to me that I have about 4 and a half months left, closer to four. That went fast…
Q: Are most chapel buildings air-conditioned?
A: Most chapels are. Here in Carissa, we don’t have aircon, but it’s not a problem. It stays a good temperature.
Q: When is the last time you had a Popsicle?
A: A long time, but not because of a lack of choices. Elder Grant has one almost every day.
Q: What is your favorite thing to drink?
A: I like water a lot.
Q: Ever hear from Elder Velasco? How’s he doing?
A: Elder Velasco is back in Mandaluyong, last I heard. He’s in the 3rd ward this time, way back when we were the 1st ward. He’s doing well.
Q: If I remember right, you don’t look at Sister Tye’s blog. Is that correct?
A: I don’t look at her blog, no. We’re not supposed to, but I know that a lot of missionaries do. Too bad for them.
