Sister Chamberlain: Lucia got Baptized!

This last week was CRAZY!!! It was so busy!! I will first start by telling you that rugby is one of my new favorite sports!! It was so much fun! I was incredibly sore the next couple of days though. It was nice because I was on Wayne’s team (the pro rugby player) so he just yelled at me what to do the whole time otherwise I don’t think I would have understood what was going on! He gave Sister Green and I a rugby ball so we have been practicing our passes in the flat. It is really hard to get the spin on it. She played in high school so she is giving me pointers.

On a more spiritual note LUCIA got baptized!!!! Ah she is simply amazing! I gave a talk on the Holy Ghost which was scary but fun! Sister Green spoke on baptism and we both learned some Chinese to say in our talks. It was really funny because the elders who spoke Chinese were helping us and they were laughing at Sister Green’s Chinese and said mine was wonderful but then we called Richard one of the members in China and he went off about how proud he was of Sister Green and how amazed he was and then he kept correcting mine. I think it is just cause Sister Green has a Hong Kong accent so it is more clear ;) She looked beautiful! She bore her testimony and the Spirit that filled the chapel was incredible. She is extremely special so brave!!

Funny story! So the senior couple in our zone (the Boones) are the sweetest ever. Elder Boone always tells me what is going on in the sporting world back home. They have served 4 missions including being the MTC president in Provo. He had a shout out from Elder Cook at the conference we had, no big deal. But anywho one day when they were inspecting our flat they were asking why I was so short if you were so tall mom (don’t ask how that came up but it did) I said well I got my dad’s genes and his side is shorter plus I did gymnastics forever and that seems to produce short people and then from that comment came the rumor that I did gymnastics for the U haha. The cuties they have been telling everyone. Best rumor ever!! I had to correct everyone though even though it would have been fun to keep it going.

We had a couple of exchanges this week which was fun. We keep having flat troubles but our neighbors are kind enough to let us borrow a heater and break into our flat when we lock ourselves out :)

Ah man I had another cool miracle story I wanted to tell you but I am running out of time!! Next week, next week!

LOVE YOU ALL.

Love, Sister Chamberlain

P.S. So jealous Alyse and Mickelle get to serve together what are the odds! So cool!
