ELDER COWAN: Sitting on a Park Bench

What is up everyone!

This week has been pretty darn good to us! We set some goals that we had to stretch for but we made it! I guess the best thing we saw this week was Athena passed her baptismal interview and is getting baptized on November 22nd! So that is making us happy! That is actually this Saturday so send us good thoughts on that day!  We also had a sweet lesson with a lady named Pat! She is in her 70s and has been not really searching for religion but look it for something more. We found her a couple of weeks ago and have been teaching her ever since but this last Friday was a breakthrough! We invited her to pray about baptism and she was so set on it! She is super cool and really wants to know. She asks good questions and the member that we had at the lesson was able to help out so much!  This week we are going to up at the Seminole State College campus talking to people again! This is one of my favorite things just because people are so awkward about missionaries coming up to them and talking about God! I love it!  We are still working hard and trying to find. We got some new ideas this last week so, we are trying them out. One of them is apartment complex walk throughs. I was with a spanish missionary when we tried it and I swear all we found were spanish people! It was hysterical because, I would start out he contact and they would look at me like what is he saying? Then the spanish guy took over from there. It was so much fun! We picked up more ways to find people! I really enjoy being a missionary and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world right now!  I hope you all are doing good! Have a great week.
