Sister Chamberlain: This week was marvelous!

This week was marvelous! We had exchanges with the Staines sisters which was fun! They both are so sweet. Sister Hurst is from Utah and is going home this transfer and Sister Green is from Australia and is going home next transfer. They are complete opposites which could create contention but it works in their favor I think and they come up with brilliant ideas and are able to play off one another’s talents rather than but heads.

So we did service for a woman this week that is friends with one of the members here. She is from Pennsylvania! Anyways the elders and I both went because it was a "big" English garden (they call any type of yard a garden here). Well Sister Sargsyan and I were picking up all of the fallen apples and we were thinking "wow we did not know that rotten apples smell this bad" then we were taking the really gross ones to her compost pile and Sister Sargsyan goes what kind of animal is that and i looked and it looked like a dirt mound and I said that is just a dirt AHAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. I thought it was their family dog or something at first that had been dug up by some animal but it turned out to be a fox. It was so, so dead. I wouldn’t go very near it because you know how weak my stomach is but the elders and Sister Sargsyan put it in a rubbish bag and i stood far away and all I say was its rigor mortis tale and all of the fur was mushy and black except for the very tip was still fluffy and orange. yuck. the garden looked spectacular though when we were done.

Ah another crazy thing was we contacted on the street by singing. So scary I could not believe I was doing it. We had the Aldershot sisters come and help us out. Not the most effective but fun! Hopefully we planted a bunch of seeds at least.

There is a woman in our ward named Becky Jackson and I got talking to her the other day and guess what??! She was a dancer on the west end! How cool is that?! I think it is the west end maybe the east end haha whatever London’s Broadway is. Then further into the conversation about dance she goes do you know the back street boys?? um yes. Oh i was just a back up dancer for them hahah. Real cool.

Anyways sorry this isn’t filled with too much. Nothing else super grand happened lots and lots of finding for us!!
