ELDER COWAN: Another Day in the Mission

Hey everybody how’s it going? Hope everyone’s week was great. We had an awesome week. I think one of the highlights happen Tuesday. It was when I was able to go on an exchange with one of my friends from back in the MTC. We had such a fun time reliving old times and just laughing about all the things that it happened over the course of the year that we’ve been in the mission. It was one heck of a fun time. We were able to also see some pretty cool things well on exchanges. One of the things that the mission is doing now is just talking with everyone. So he talk to everyone in her path. We even went to target and contacted people there… And then we were able to find someone we are teaching because we talk to everyone. It was a lady in our apartment complex.  Then for the rest of the week we just had a fun time working hard. On Thursday we were able to see the new movie called Meet The Mormons. It really is just a great movie to go see just to be uplifted. It doesn’t really talk much about the church but more about the people. And some of the people have some pretty interesting stories. If you’d ever heard about the guy who wouldn’t drop candy during that Berlinairlift.  He’s one of the guys who story is featured. I guess you’d have to go to meetthemormons.org to find out the nearest showing. It really is awesome and you don’t have to be a member to see it.  Then on Saturday we did service all day for one of our nest to gators.  They have this garage that is so full of junk we had to go through and just decide whether not we were going to keep it or throw it away.  Sometimes it was old Styrofoam boxes that we just tossed even without saying anything. It was so full of junk I can’t even describe it. We also and just a great Sunday as well. I enjoy a good church day at the end of a hard week!
