Sister Chamberlain: Hello, Hello from across the pond :)

Well hello there lovely people :)

Quote of the week:

“Every day is a gift that is why it is called the present” :)

So this last week was real swell! Talking at zone conference went well. I had Sister Sargsyan speak with me and it was kinda funny there was a bit of a language barrier going on but it went well. Then we had my first exchanges ever!!! Well the first one that I have ever lead. It went really, really well. I was with Sister Green who is an absolute doll from Australia. It was so neat being able to talk with her and help her out. It’s such a blessing to be able to know what to say to people and to know what to help them. It is also a blessing when you see that hey other people have problems too hahaha especially when they are similar or the same struggles that you have had/have on the mission and you know what was able to help you :)

The finding is slow in this area but it is happening. I talked to a sister who served here a few months ago and she said she would wake up with hives every morning because it was so hard. We are thinking about moving because we are about 45 minutes away from most of the really good finding areas or just areas with people in general haha :) Most of the people we had been teaching haven’t really been talking to us for various reasons but that is why we go out every day to find more people to talk to us and learn more about Christ!

“We are trying to find more exciting and fun ways to talk to people on the street.”

We have decided to do what we have done in all my other areas and go search out people we have never met before on our ward list and knocking the area and talking to people along the way. It is a bit difficult because most of our area we can only get to by train including our chapel. We are trying to find more exciting and fun ways to talk to people on the street. We are just really trying to figure out what will work with this area the best because no area is a dead area and we will bring people to Christ!! It was kind of fun the other day, the sisters in Bath called me and asked for some help on where to go or investigators to follow up on and such. It was fun getting out my old planners and looking back on all the different people we met! Unfortunately I found out though that Haniff and Derek haven’t been coming to church but they’ll reactivate them :)

Well that is all folks love you!!!

Love, Sister Chamberlain

P..S. It is bright and beautiful in Guildford right now!! :)
