SISTER FIRTH: IRELAND-My Daughter :)

Well this past week was great! On Wednesday, we caught a flight to Edinburgh at 8 in the morning. I had to say bye to Sister Crawley. Oh how I miss her! She is so cute and I know she will do great things in Edinburgh! So we caught the flight and got to Edinburgh and went straight into the mission home for training with President Brown. It was great. I love him so much! He is a great mission president. So the whole day was jumbled and I doubt I say this all in the right order but I’ll try.

So we had a bit of training, then the trainee’s had training, we did some role plays and then we hiked Pratt’s Hill. OH MY I am out of shape! Ha It about killed me! Haven’t hiked it in over a year….it was rough but so fun! The new missionaries are so cute and young ha but I love them! So we got back from Pratt’s Hill and had more training from President Brown, Sister Brown, and the staff. Then came the big moment…..we got our trainees!! My daughter is Sister Martin! She is so cute! She is 19, from Georgia, and reminds me so much of myself when I first came out into the mission. Ha-ha she is great! I love her lots already!

So it has been a great week. We dropped Bob our investigator because he just wanted to argue and prove us wrong but we picked up a new investigator named Stuart. He is cool. He has met with missionaries in the past so we’ll see how this goes! Other than that, no new news! Just lots and lots of finding! Ha my feet are sore!!

So being a trainer is hard but great! I really am liking it a lot! I hope I can help Sister Martin become the missionary that she wants to become. She will be great I know it!

Me on the ferry...it was windy but so fun!
