Elder Cowan: Transferring to …

Howdy y’all!

This week has been great. I guess you are all wondering where I am right now. I am in the Bumby Ward! Basically it is south Orlando. I couldn’t give you the exact area, but I know that it is Northwest of the airport. Our bottom corner touches the airport so if you look Northwest from there, you will see where I am!

My companion is Elder Tucker from SLC. He has been out for about 3 months so I am senior to someone. Things are going well. Not going to lie, it is going to be a tough area to work in but I have hope that if we work hard, things will work out for us.

So there is not much new to report on just because our week was spent waiting at the church building while we all had meetings. There are two other elders who we share a car with in the area to the west of us so when they have a meeting, we usually have to wait for them. So a lot of the week was at the church and then Tucker got sick on Saturday so we had to spend the day inside while he recuperated.

This is going to be a tough transfer but I have faith and hope that things will work out and we will be able to turn this Bumby area into the place where all the other missionaries want to be.

I think that just about wraps it up for me. All of our people up in Deltona are doing well as far as I can tell. Perez didn’t get back to me today so I will have a clearer picture next week, but take care everyone and have a great day!

Love,

Elder Cowan
