ELDER COWAN: THIS WEEK

Well everybody, this week was good! We have our weeks divided out into a 6 week time period called a transfer. Week 6 is notoriously lame for missionary work because everyone is looking forward to their next area or new comp. This was not the same with us! We worked hard all the way up to the last day! We were able to see some pretty cool experiences because of it! We found two new investigators and one of them wants to be baptized so bad! It is awesome! So for not being super ready to go, we found miracles! But the sad fact is that we did get a transfer call on Saturday. Elder Cortez is leaving me and the area to head somewhere else. So that means that I will keep the area and get a new companion. I’m not training so that means that the new guy will know about missionary work! That makes me pretty excited. I do have a couple of guesses but nothing really set in stone.

So I guess we are also getting gutted from our district as well. There was a split in the congregations to create a new congregation a month ago. With that, it affects the missionaries’ area and also the districts within the mission. My theory is that they are going to take Sanford from our district and stick some new areas in the district. After all of that, I’ll keep one sister from the change which will be crazy! It’ll be weird to see after all is said and done. I’ll know what is going on tomorrow but I won’t report until next week!
