ELDER COWAN: TOUGH WEEK

Hey family and friends. This week to be honest was super tough. I don’t think it had much to do with the work but it had more to do with just how things went. We were talking with their ward mission leader Who really helped us understand what to do and how we can improve. It just felt like a slumping week I was something that was really tough.  He found a quote that really applies to how things go at times and all included in the end. Other than that we just worked. I don’t think there was much more we can it done except maybe had a better attitude about things.  We had interviews with the mission president on Thursday and he really helped us out in many different phases of missionary work. Other than that things have just been the same old.  We have been able to set a date with two of our investigators! They are good friends and they have been learning together for quite some time. We set the date for November 22!  We have also been trying to find some new people as well. We met a really nice lady in an apartment complex two weeks ago I have been following up with her on how she is liking the Gospel. She is coming along really good excited to continue to work with her. This week is going to be fun it’s our bike week. So will be able to talk to a lot more people and see a lot more crazy things. Almost forgot we got to contact people on the Seminole State College campus. It was super fun. Because we were able to talk to Ohana College kids who were almost as awkward as we were. I really got to say I’m grateful for the mission just because it is taught me how to talk to people and how to act. We’ve had the funniest time laughing about how awkward they were when we came up to them and said “Hey can we give you a card about Jesus Christ?” They got so freaked out it was hysterical.

I hope everything is going well with you guys. Take care and know that I love you all and hope you have a good day!
